A few days late, but I made it...
April & Early May Highlights
Graduated from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business
3 years, 2 transfers, and 1 full semester of study abroad later, I graduated with two degrees: BBA Business Fellows & BBA Finance. (Magna cum laude at that)
Finished semester with a 4.0
After several all-nighters and tireless hours of working on projects, presentations, and writing a business plan, I still managed to eek out all As in my final semester of college.
Baylor won March Madness
In my final semester of school, I was witness to our basketball team winning the National Championship! Sic 'em!
New Stuff
Sustainable Real Estate
One of my passions ever since 4th grade was sustainability. I remember the first time I was introduced to a "net zero" house concept, meaning the house created, stored, and used all of its own energy, completely free from the grid. Now that I have the various skill sets learned throughout college and the social/geopolitical climate being ripe for sustainable innovation, I believe now is the time to capitalize on efficient and net zero development.
Books
Apologize, finally resumed leisurely reading after graduation... now finishing Gates' How to Avoid a Climate Disaster.
Struggles
Taking a deep breath
This is both literal and figurative. After a trip to Austin last month, I have had severe back pains that have prevented me from taking full deep breaths. Headed to Chiro tomorrow.
On a more serious note, I am wanting to go-go-go, yet everyone around me is telling me to take a step back and take a deep breath now that I have completed college.
Closing Thoughts
I am done with school! Woohoo. I have so so much I am working on and thinking of... can't wait to be posting more on here about what is next!
